The Cottage offers a premier coastal setting with direct views of Santa Monica’s renowned white‑sand beach. Guests enjoy immediate access to the beachfront bike path and walking trail, making it easy to explore the shoreline by foot, bike, or board.

The garden has a fine BBQ area, Jacuzzi, and infrared sauna. The south side yard has a small bamboo walking path to the front garden. Plumeria trees line the front grassy seating area with a beautiful ocean view.

Concierge
The concierge and manager are around to help with anything you need—whether it’s a great restaurant recommendation.

Santa Monica Pier
Right at the base of the pier is one of the oldest and prettiest carousels around. There’s also a small aquarium with local sea life, plus restaurants and a fun zone with a Ferris wheel and roller coaster.
Third Street Promenade
Entertainment options include movie theaters and great restaurants, plus designer clothing stores like, Lululemon, Nike, and a variety of men’s, women’s, and kids’ apparel and shoe shops.
Farmer's Markets
Santa Monica has two Farmers Markets: Wednesdays and Saturdays on Arizona Avenue, and Sundays on Main Street next to the Heritage Museum.
Leisure Activities
Right in front of the cottage, you’ll find plenty of sun and beach fun—roller hockey, biking, long walks, yoga, fun board surfing, boogie boarding, body surfing, lifeguard watching, and lots more to enjoy.
Hollywood and Beverly Hills
Both these famous places are an easy drive from the Cottage—perfect for checking out Universal Studios, walking Rodeo Drive, and enjoying two of L.A.’s most famous neighborhoods.
Sports
Sports fans have plenty to enjoy: UCLA and USC host tons of Pac‑15 games, and L.A. is home to the Lakers, Clippers, Kings, and the Rams
